Everyone has that one thing, or lots of things, that totally freak you out. There are the typical and the unique. Whatever they are there is definately one thing that goes along any phobia...humor!
I'll start...
I have two things that come to mind. The first is feet, gross feet to be exact. It didn't matter how hot a guy was - if he has funky feet - forget it. Hairy toes, smelly feet, long toe nails, snagle toes, junk under his nails, yuck, yuck, YUCK!!! It's not just guy's feet but any feet in general.
The second thing is, I don't quite know how to say it so I just be blunt...pubes!
Oh I hate them!!! They freak me out worse than feet!!! I was at a mutual friends condo. I had to pee. I held it for as long as I could. I knew I was taking a risk, due to the fact that there were three guys living in there and only one had a girlfriend. Well lets just say it looked like someone threw a "pube" birds nest in a fan that exploded all over the bathroom!!! I "hover peed" and got the hell out of there! I smothered my hands in hand sanitizer and dry heaved a couple times...eewwwww!! There is also "pube" soap. Ever seen that? It's when the bar of soap in the shower is sprinkled with random pubes! Very nice!!

haha. totally get where your coming from with the feet and pubes. those are both pretty freakin gross.

right, this is gonna sound weird, but i have like a completely irrational fear of my driveway when its dark out. I live in the middle of the woods and my driveway it pretty long, but when i was around 10 years old, a coyote came down it and scared the crap out of me and my brother. ever since then, i hate to be outside at night by myself. and its only at my house. i have no problem anywhere else. when i have to go out, i always feel like there is something like stalking me through the night. haha...my brother makes fun of me all the time about it.

That's funny! Your story reminds me of a Spongebob cartoon where is was afraid to take out the trash at night. I giggle every time I see it because I can totally relate!

My daughter is obsessed with Elmo right now! I swore when she was born that she was never going to watch Elmo...oh well. I will sacrifice my hate of Elmo for a few minutes of quiet any day. I also had a friend who was deathly afraid of clowns. We went to a haunted house and I looked online to make sure there was not going to be any clowns. I assured her NO CLOWNS. Well they must have run out of ideas because in one of the last rooms...nothing but clowns! My poor friend - she started to hyperventlate and almost passed out!

there's one thing that really freaks me out. spiders.
it's embarrasing to be afraid of them, but i just can't convince myself to like them. i once got fever simply because a spider managed to get too close to my feet (just two more inches and it will be touching my feet already).

My dad, who is 6 ft plus tall, is really scared of spiders too! He gets teased all the time. A friend found a Polo shirt that had spiders stitched all over it and bought it for him. Needless to say I have never seen him wear it! It is still in his closet so there is still hope! Ha, Ha, Ha!

oh my, i'm glad none of my friends have done that to me. hehehe. they always tease me though, saying they know what to get me on my birthday (anything with spiders on it) but i'm glad that they never do it. there's still hope for your dad if he keeps it in his closet. if it were me i'll put it in a box under my bed. =)

Ok, one of mine is SPIDERS. Baaaaad experiences. I was taking a shower once, and I just happened to notice a little brown spider right by my foot. I'm trying to stay away from this little thing long enough for it to wash down the drain. I had another spider experience where there was this little black spider on the rug in the bathroom. For a second, I thought it was fake, and that my brother put it there to scare me. But after looking at it for a while, it looked realistic, and i realized it was real. It scrambled away before my dad could smash it. My friend Paul thinks spiders are cool, and I said to him that I thought he was weird.

HAHAHA well i'm completely afraid of clowns. i know it's weird but i HATE them. they're the scariest thing ever. i feel like such a loser because my family decided to go to the circus and i had to stay home because i'm afraid of the clowns hahaha.

You all have very rational phobias. Mine are not so much, I am afraid of frogs/toads. There is just something about the way they look and move. I hate their limbs...something about their weirdly modified hind limbs freak me out, they are so long and move in a weird way. That's kind of rational I guess except, frogs/toads are basically harmless. But my other phobia is of buttons, that's right buttons. The kinds of buttons on shirts freak me out the most. I have not worn a button up shirt ever. It started when I was younger and I've never grown out of it. They just freak me out, especially polos...I hate them and can't even stand to look at them. I literally cringe at the thought of wearing or touching buttons.

Well I would probably freak you out because I have two tatoos and guess what they are...FROGS! In oriental culture they are a symbol of prosparity. Oh well?!
The button thing...that's a new one! Very interesting.
