Unfortunately, my novel didn't win the contest. But that's okay, because I'm currently working on a bigger and better one, and I needed more time on my other one anyway.

About the grandparent's...things have certainly not progressed. We received another nasty-ass email, and Easter was totally ruined. I've had hardly any contact with them besides that, and the only time that I had to see them I was unusually cold. (Can you blame me?) So we're still working things out on that note.

How have you been? Haven't caught up with any of you guys in for-freaking-ever. -Haley
